There is nothing like going to another country and seeing for yourself how people live there, and finding out firsthand how much or how little people know about life with Jesus.

Every year we organize several trips to locations in Asia. The schedule will be posted here soon.

You can also join a trip organized by a missions organization recognized by the church, but allow extra time (3 months before the trip is strongly recommended) for processing by the church.

Preparation:

1. We strongly recommend you undergo Kairos training (8 weekday evenings plus one Saturday). See the section on training [create hyperlink here] and check the Wesley Weekly for times and details of the next round of training.
2. Most trips also require some trip-specific preparation -- one or more briefings, plus in some cases, time to prepare ministry materials.

Subsidies

The Missions Policy provides for some financial support for approved trips. The amount is usually about 50% of the travel cost plus approved ministry expenses. The trip organizer must submit a budget for the trip to the Missions Committee at least 2 months before the trip for approval.
