BOP stands for Befrienders' Outreach Programme.

Befrienders' Ministry is one of 13 outreach ministries under the Christian Outreach & Social Concerns (COSC) in Wesley Methodist Church.

Our mission is:

To respect the dignity and self worth of the elderly and to maximize their independence and quality of life. Befrienders seek to be God’s instruments of blessings to these poor and lonely elderlies regardless of race and religion.

Vision:

To strive for quality care and effectiveness of our services to the elderly clients under our care.

Eligibility of clients:

• 55 years and above living alone or with another frail senior/ caregiver in a one-room rental flat.
• With limited or no family support or on Public Assistance.
• Suffers from disability (eg. blind, stroke, early dementia, crippled by ill health, etc).
