ABOUT US
Skiers’ Paradise, a social concerns ministry in Wesley Methodist Church, is a group of dedicated christians who put aside one Sunday every month to share “a touch of Christ” with beloved friends.
Our friends, the guests for the day, come from homes for the aged, disabled or underpriviliged familes. It is a day that we spend blessing them with singspiration, prayer, games, delicious food and fun-filled activities at the beach.
A day at the beach may seem mundane to any fortunate folk, but to our guests, it is a rare opportunity to be treasured, busking in the sun and in the love we offer.
Since our humble beginnings in 1995, we have grown steadily, both in numbers and in logistics. Today, there is an overwhelming response from many welfare associations interested to particpate in this programme.
Ministers to the underpriviledged, handicapped, elderly and marginalised from various organisations in Singapore with a day at the beach complete with sea-sports, fun-filled activities and a sumptuous meal.
Outings are organised once a month on a Sunday (except for Nov & Dec) at Sembawang or Kallang.
