PURPOSE: To serve God and give praise offering to Him in the Worship Services at the Sanctuary on Sundays and other Special Services.
FUNCTIONS/ ACTIVITIES: As an important part of the liturgy our Service Choirs sing the Introit, Anthem and Benediction Response every Sunday. We enhance the congregational singing and also serve as a choral back-up to the worship leaders. Our Service Choirs also sing at Special Services / Projects e.g. Christmas, Easter, Anniversary. Other Choirs such as Sunbeams, Wesley Singers focus on special projects and occasionally sing in the services.
MINISTRY’S ATTRACTION: A wonderful Ministry that allows for the expressions of love, faith and thanksgiving to God through songs. The spiritual dimension of the songs and lyrics touches both God and man. Singing gives glory to God and brings joy to the singers. Occasional trainings and special projects allow the grooming of talents and improvement of skills. The ministry also provides a caring group and fellowship for every member to walk and grow in Christ together. Retreats and special gatherings are other meaningful events that members can look forward to.
