Youth Ministry

Position	Youth Small Group Leaders (YSGLs)
Description of duties	Attend Youth Ministry (YM) Service on Saturdays from 2-3.30pm and facilitate Youth Small Groups (YSGs) from 3.30-5pm Mentor the youths in their spiritual growth for the youths to be transformed for Christ Build a close and authentic community within the Youth Small Group (“YSG”) Disciple and care for the youths
Requirements	Worship regularly in one of the services in Wesley Methodist Church (WMC) Confirmed member of WMC (for those above 21 years old) Member of a Small Group in WMC Emotionally stable Availability of time to meet commitments Team player with co-leaders Committed to personal spiritual growth Must not be a recent convert, but mature Christian with good standing accordance to 1 Tim 3:1-7 Passionate to see youth grow in their Christian faith
Commitment	Weekly on Saturdays from 2-5pm, December camp, Leaders’ retreat and additional time with youths as you build relationships with them (For 5 years)

Position	Transition Group Mentors
Description of duties	Mentor youth small groups (YSGs) that are 19 years old and above, to transition to adult Small Groups (SGMs) Provide guidance and skills to peer-lead Bible study and care for one another’s spiritual growth
Requirements	Passionate to see youth grow in their Christian faith Good listening skills and empathy Worship regularly in one of the services in Wesley Methodist Church (WMC) Confirmed member of WMC (for those above 21 years old) Member of a Small Group in WMC Team player to work together with the rest of the transition team Committed to personal spiritual growth Heart to see youth grow into a fellowship group. Supporting one other Perseverance spirit, willing to confront setback. try variety of creative approach to journey with their group formation
Commitment	Flexible, committed to meet with transitioning groups on a monthly basis and to update on the progress of transitioning groups during our leaders’ monthly meetings

Position	Curriculum Team
Description of duties	Adapt materials provided by Wesley Methodist Church to youth-level, to be used during YSG time Sit in to 2 or 3 YSG meetings of the relevant age band to observe how the adapted material is used and its effectiveness
Requirements	Team player with members in age-group sub-teams and curriculum team as a whole Be open to exploring youth culture and methodologies to engage the youth Able to meet deadlines in submission of curriculum to YM staff
Commitment	Commitment is annual, but time commitment is flexible and project-based

Position	Communications Team
Description of duties	Mentor youths in media and communications skills and/or help YM expand their media and communications outreach
Requirements	Industry experience in communication related fields e.g. Digital Media, Communications, Branding, Marketing, Graphic Design, Video Production, Project/Account Management, Video Streaming, etc.
Commitment	Project basis, varies depending on the nature of the project (e.g. 1-3 months)
