I have been serving at Wesley Methodist Church as a full-time staff member for about three years. During these years, I can boldly declare that I have experienced God’s abundant love, faithfulness, and grace far beyond what I could ever have imagined.

I feel and see acts of God’s abundant love through my colleagues, who show love and care for each other in simple and practical ways. It's not just the words spoken, but the intent behind them, which comes from the prompting of the Lord!

I witness God’s faithfulness in our well-run projects, events, and courses that my colleagues and I participate in as the Wesley staff team. Though we have our "hiccup" moments, we are able to set aside our differences and work towards a common goal.

Last but not least, I receive God’s grace fully when my colleagues forgive my wrongdoings or words that have hurt them. In turn, I learn to forgive those who have hurt me.

God affirmed my calling to Wesley with these words: “All will be well.” I answered the call, and I can now testify that it is indeed well!

Feel led by God to serve at Wesley? Well, I hope this will reassure you a little – we Wesley staff are fun, loving, and inclusive people! And we enjoy eating!

Join us! We look forward to seeing you become part of our family!

I may have grown up in Wesley and spent all my life here, but it was only when I was 22 that I heard God plant the thought of full-time ministry in my head. I’d just started attending church regularly again after spending several years of my youth “wandering”, as I like to call it, and drifting from God. Hence, I was certain it was no coincidence that I’d heard a calling to full-time ministry because I’d never once considered working in church full-time as a career option. I definitely wasn’t ready initially but I also remembered the promise I made to God when I’d decided to take my faith seriously and come back to church regularly – that I’d say “yes” to whatever He called me to and wherever He led me. Hence, I took the step of faith to apply for the full-time Programme Coordinator position and the rest is history. Time has flown by and at the time of writing, I’ve been here for a year and four months.

Here's the best part, I wasn’t sure quite what to expect, going from just a church-goer to a church staff, it was something I never expected I’d do, but it’s become one of the most life-changing, fulfilling decisions I’ve ever made. Just knowing I answered His call and am living out His plan for my life has brought me so much refreshment and joy and my encouragement to anyone reading this is simple – Seek the Lord and when He calls, just say “yes!”
